# Zapier

**Answer:** The Coevera app on Zapier has 16 triggers for new and updated accounts, appointments, contacts, custom entities, leads, opportunities, products and tasks, 17 create and update actions, 9 searches and 7 search-or-create steps. It signs in with an API application's user name and password, the service URL and the space ID.

This page describes the public listing at
[zapier.com/apps/coevera/integrations](https://zapier.com/apps/coevera/integrations). Zapier
publishes the app as **Coevera**.

## Connect Coevera to Zapier

1. In Coevera, create an API application for Zapier and give it the
   [permissions](/get-started/permissions-and-scopes/) your Zaps need. The
[quickstart](/get-started/quickstart/#get-api-credentials) shows where to create it.
2. Select the application and open **Show Access**. Keep the dialog open: it shows the four
   values Zapier asks for.
3. In Zapier, connect the Coevera app and enter the application's **user name** and
**password**, the **space ID** and the **service URL**.

Use a separate API application for Zapier, so you can change its permissions or its password
([authentication](/get-started/authentication/#rotate-the-credentials)) without touching your
other integrations.

## Triggers

Sixteen triggers, a **New** and an **Updated** trigger for each of these record types:

| Record type | Triggers |
| ------------- | ---------------------------------------- |
| Account | New Account, Updated Account |
| Appointment | New Appointment, Updated Appointment |
| Contact | New Contact, Updated Contact |
| Custom Entity | New Custom Entity, Updated Custom Entity |
| Lead | New Lead, Updated Lead |
| Opportunity | New Opportunity, Updated Opportunity |
| Product | New Product, Updated Product |
| Task | New Task, Updated Task |

## Actions

Seventeen actions:

- **Create** (9): Account, Appointment, Contact, Custom Entity, Lead, Opportunity, Product,
  Product Line Item, Task.
- **Update** (8): Account, Appointment, Contact, Custom Entity, Lead, Opportunity, Product, Task.

## Searches

- **Find** (9): Account, Appointment, Contact, Custom Entity, Lead, Opportunity, Owner, Product,
Task. **Find Owner** looks up a Coevera user, for example to set the owner of a new record.
- **Search or create** (7): Account, Appointment, Contact, Lead, Opportunity, Product, Task. The
step finds a record, or creates it when none matches.

## Where it stops

The app has no delete actions, no business actions such as qualifying a lead or moving an
opportunity to another step, and no steps for quotes, projects or documents. For those, call the
API, or use Zapier's own HTTP steps with an API application's credentials. See
[Integration platforms](/integrations/overview/) for how the options compare.
